Hi all togehter,

i have a Problem to which i cannot find any answers.

I set Up my Router (ER605) and my Switch (SG2008P). Controller is connected to the Router. MAC-Filtering ist activated. Everything works fine.

When i now connect the Controller to the Switch (because i want to use PoE), it cannot adopt the Router anymore although the MAC Adress of the Router is Set in the UI.

When i do all the Things again without MAC Filtering active, everything works perfectly fine.

What am i doing wrong?

Thank you very much!

Hi  @omada_noob

We need to know what the MAC filtering configuration is.

You may delete the MAC filtering config first and then change the topology. After adopting the router successfully, please check the MAC filtering settings carefully.

Hi  @Vincent-TP,

ok i will try it again.

Is it theoretically possible to connect the Controller to the switch and not directly to the Router? And i don't need an extra configuration for this setup, right?

Of course. There would not be a problem with that setup.
