Omada Software Controller customise Launch URL
Hi
I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to customize Software Controller settings so that when it is installed on Windows the Launch button will point to my defined FQDN instead of "https://localhost/" ?
I was digging in settings and forums but was not able to find anything related to this.

Hi @vrtareg
May we know why do you want to do this?
Since we always need to click the launch button, it should affect any kind of usage.

Hi @Vincent-TP
In my Software Controller I have it's own domain name assigned to it and also separate portal DNS name. Also I have SSL certificate assigned to both of the hostnames.
So now when controller starting it is automatically performing browser launch with https://localhost URL which is giving wrong SSL error. After that I need to change it to FQDN that I set up to proceed as usual.
If I can set up my FQDN in some configuration place so browser will be launched with my FQDN it will not give SSL error and I don't need to change URL to get to controller.
Thanks,
Areg

Hi @vrtareg
Thanks for your reply.
We wrote a configuration guide on this topic; you may have a look:

Hi @Vincent-TP
I used that guide to set up FQDN for my Software Controller and also portal URL like "ocsw.mydomain" and "portalsw.mydomain".
My question is more for the Launcher initial configuration which will allow me to set "ocsw.mydomain" in initial configuration file somewhere which will allow Software Launcher to launch browser using "https://ocsw.mydomain" URL instead of default "https://localhost" one.
I was digging in all config files in my local Controller installation but can't find anything that will help that.
