Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.2 Build 20240324 Rel.46738

I am trying to connect remotely to the camera built into the Flashforge printer I have which is on port 8080 (192.168.10.110:8080/?action=stream). I can connect locally, but cannot connect remotely. I have set up a vserver rule for it an set up port forwarding. I have a static IP and can see the port is open when checking externally. I am thoroughly confused as to why this is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

remove port trigger config, you only need virtual server

hard to say since you haven't shown any screenshots of your configuration.

I assumed that the image showing port 8080 open from the outside was sufficient to show that the port is open. I can access my NAS just fine.

  @MR.S

So this is bizarre, I pulled up the link and it first said it wasn’t available, but I set my phone down and after about 15-20 seconds it connected. The throughput is terrible, but I did connect. I had not waited this long previously as I was used to connecting immediately.

i use controller so i don't know how it is in stand alone that you use, but all port forwards go lightning fast.. there is no delay at all.
