Model: EAP215-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20240723 Rel. 38150

I've just set-up the EAP215 Bridge Kit and it is controlled by an Omada Hardware Controller OC200 with a ER7206 (V1) router and SG3210 (V3.2) switch.

On the client end, I have two CCTV cameras connected to the Ethernet Ports.

My concern is that an intruder could potenitally connect their own laptop to one of the Ethernet ports and gain access to the network. I cannot see a way of being able to prevent this happening (although it is unlikely). I considered MAC filtering but this seems to only apply to wi-fi and not ethernet.

Can anyone help please with providing a solution to this major security issue?

Thanks,

Peter Chatterton

  @Balham

look at this link, I have the same problem with an access point that is mounted outside, to prevent others from connecting to the cable I followed this guide

Regarding the ports on the bridge kit, there must be a way to disable these.
