Vigi C485 8MP (2.8mm) power source question

I am looking to buy the Vigi C485 8MP (2.8mm) camera but I am thinking of connecting this device directly to my Deco X10 router and NOT through a NVR.
My questions are:
1) Can this model be directly connected to an independent power source instead of through POE.
2) Can this device connect directly to my deco router instead of a NVR? I will be using a micro SD card to store my videos and accessing the videos through my phone.
Thanks in advance,

Hi @cachemano
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Search for his model on our official website:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/business-networking/vigi-network-camera/vigi-c485/
You should find its specs.
1. Dual power supply.
2. If you don't have an NVR, you can still use it like a regular camera like IoT camera. A micro-SD card is required.

@Clive_A Another question after pondering whether to use a direct power source vs using a poe injector. Seems like a poe injector might be a better solution for my location.
I found the Omada POE150S with these specs:
Omada PoE Injector AdapterPORT: 1× Gigabit PoE Port, 1× Gigabit Non-PoE PortSPEC: 802.3af Compliant, Data and Power Carried over The Same Cable Up to 100 Meters,Plastic Case, Pocket Size.
Can this poe injector be used for the VIGI 485?
