I've just installed my second Tapo TC40 camera which is OK but when I try to set the pan/tilt default view I get a message saying "operation failed, try again later". It's the same with setting sensitivity, etc.

Check if there are errors when adjusting other camera features.
Make sure the Tapo app and the camera firmware are both updated. How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
Test whether the control works when your phone connects to the same local WiFi as the camera. To avoid network switching and interference, disable cellular data and turn off VPN during the test.
Try to restart the camera. Force-close and reopen the app, then try again.
