Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6.4 Build 25011612

The OpenVPN client on the DECO x50 redirects all traffic to the VPN and ignores the DECO X50 gateway. This isn't a server issue; it's a problem with the DECO's routing table.

It would be nice if they allowed more than one OpenVPN client to connect simultaneously, not just one as they currently allow.

It would also be nice if you could enable or disable each OpenVPN client separately, rather than all of them, as is currently the case.

Thanks.

  @FANCHO

Hi, welcome to the community, and thank you very much for the feedback.

Have you used any other WiFi routers that have already supported the listed three features?

I've done some Google searches and noticed there was a feature called "VPN Fusion," which sounds quite similar to your feedback:

Are these what you wish to be complemented on Deco X50?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

What I suggest the DECO X50 do is a secondary issue. The main issue is to fix the OpenVPN client so that it doesn't send all traffic through the VPN and ignore the default gateway.

Regarding suggestions, I don't need you to search for other solutions online; I already have other routers that do this... some with freshtomato (dot) org and others with mikrotik (dot) com. And there must surely be a large number of other routers that do this because it's not crazy to do so. If you can accept it as a suggestion, that would be great.

In any case, I'm happy if they fix the only OpenVPN client the DECO has and make it work properly.
