Temperature and Humidity Sensor
Hi,
I think you guys have done a FANTASTIC job with the T310. After some initial niggles, mainly involving Cloud based Smart Action and delayed responses. But since my Tapo H100 started hosting Local Smart Actions. things have been absolutely awesome. After some fine tuning over many days, my Tapo network of plugs and sensors (I have two Tapo 310s), and TP-Link RE190 Extender are running my Grow Tent near perfectly. My growing seedlings thank you for your service to the plant world!! As this screenshot shows, I am able to get the Temperature and Humidity to the levels I want and to keep them there day and night. I have several configurations - for Morning, Late Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night ..and the changes in temperature reflect that ...just awesome!
Having all said all that, there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to Humidity. The T310s report changes of 3% ...which is HUGE. With the Temperature it reports back in fractions and so you get lots of time to respond before there is a whole degree change. But the Humidity works in whole numbers only and this creates the type of chart you see above.
I would like to request that TP-Link continues to work on the refresh rate of the T310. I am not sure if V2 has a more frequent update ratio but if it does, please let me know. In the meantime I will wait with a smile on face. My plants are growing so things are good ...but they could be even better.
By the way ...I tried other WiFi enabled Temperature and Humidity sensors and the T310 definitely is miles faster in terms of update times. Others I tried take up to 3 minutes!
