Yesterday I installed a Deco M9 in our garden home, which has a long distance to te wireless network in our house. It's connected with the Deco x50 via a ethernet cable but it's not used? The internet speed is very slow if I'm connected via WiFi with de M9? If I take out the ethernet cable out of the M9 and put the ethernet cable directly into the computer the internet speed is fast? I'm not using IPTV, the cable is Cat 6 and, as I tested it with the computer, is working. Below it visible in red how the Deco's ar connected.

Why is the Deco M9 wireless connected with the Living Room Deco X50 instead of using the ethernet backhaul of the Dexo x50 Hallway?

Hi  @David-TP,

 

I promised you to give you a heads up about the Ethernet backhaul. Today I received the new cat6 connectors and now it's working 😊.

 

The problem was caused by a bad or too slow connection.

Thanks for your reply, yesterday I tried it with a different Cat6 cable (a short one just to check) and then it automatically switched to Ethernet, so it should work.

 

I have a Cat6 cable to the garden home but I used Cat5 connectors, I already ordered new connectors which should arrive today. I first will give that a try and hopefully that will work 🙏🏻.
