Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 231115

I have recently purchased a tp-link Wifi Range Extender TL-WA850RE from an online store in Australia. 

On the box it mentions as having 3 yrs warranty.

Do I still need to register for the warranty.

S/N: 2234443001577

You do not need to register the product in your region, you just need to keep the SN number and proof of purchase.

Follow the instructions given on this website to obtain warranty service when needed.

I couldn't find any mention of a need for registration on that website.
