Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V10
Firmware Version: Vx.30=Vx.32/Vx.33

Wish to ask, did deco series router support NAS Storage directly to the main deco? As suggested from tp-link post, I understand that using router that come with USB port can just plug it an external hard drive, with simple configuration it will enable NAS on the router.

Wish to ask is there similar feature / functionality on the Deco X50-5G device? Since there isn't USB port, can I plug in a Ethernet to Hard Disk or Ethernet to USB to reach similar goals?

The ultimate goal is to use Deco X50-5G as NAS Storage with Hard Disk plugged in with adapters, is it possible?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Many NAS Storage devices have an Ethernet port, and it would be better to plug the NAS directly into Deco via "Ethernet-to-Ethernet" ports.

In this way, the NAS can still work as a network storage server

It is not recommended to use an Ethernet-to-USB adapter to connect the Deco to the USB port of the NAS.

Best regards.
