Set Activity Zones on D210 but motion is detected and notified outside zone.

I'm getting too many notifications for motion outside of the activity zones that I have set. I am considering purchasing another Tapo camera, but I won't if the activity zones don't work.

We recommend reviewing the 'false' detection videos carefully to determine if there are indeed some changes in the scene, such as changes in lighting, shadows, flying insects, swaying plants or trees, etc. Those could be the reasons why the detection got triggered. If not, then further investigation is required. You may contact the local technical support via email, and include the following information, they will help to follow up. Contact Technical Support
1. Detailed description of the problem. *You can also provide the link to this post to them.
2. Screenshots of the doorbell's detection settings: the wake-up type, what detection features have been enabled, and what the settings are for each detection type.
3. Video of the false detection and a screenshot of the playback page that includes this event. Provide at least 2-3 sets of information better analysis.
Regarding the notification issue, have you disabled activity notifications in the doorbell settings? Note that the device's activity notification feature must be turned on if you want to receive the doorbell-press notification.

Different detection types can each have their own designated activity zones. Pay attention to the situation with the overlap detection zone.
Additionally, carefully review the videos that you suspect show false detections (activity outside the detection zone) to identify which specific detection type was activated (the tagged icons for each video). For instance, if the motion detection area overlaps with the vehicle detection area, when a car enters, it will initially trigger motion detection and then switch to vehicle detection once it enters the smaller vehicle detection zone.
