Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20250318 rel.31873

Is there a way l can manually change a device between 2.4ghz to 5ghz? The problem l am having is my Wifi Printer automatcially connects to 2.4ghz and my laptop automatically connects to 5ghz and my laptop shows the printer as offline (even thou its not as l can print documents from my ipad) The other day my laptop automatically switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and the print then showed as online from the laptop.

Hi @melgippo,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Do you mean the printer was connected to the IoT network before? If you change it to the 2.4Ghz of the main network, can it access the laptop?

Have you also checked the AP isolation feature? Please confirm it is disabled.

In addition, please set the main network's SSID to be different from the IoT network.

Hello@melgippo ,

Welcome to our community.

Have you enabled the guest network before? Please confirm that both the printer and laptop are connected to the main network.

Then, please check if the AP isolation is enabled. If yes, disable it.
