Hi,

is it possible to setup OpenVPN to use tap instead of tun?

Also, there is no way to configure Wireguard from Omada GUI via website, but I can configure that in the mobile app. So the question arises: is there Wireguard in ER7212PC or no?

Thank you for your post. The ER7212PC V1 indeed does not support WireGuard VPN configuration. Regarding your request to change OpenVPN from TUN mode to TAP mode, this modification is currently unavailable in our configuration interface. Could you please let us know why you would like to make this change? If possible, share your use case with us.

Thanks for claryfing. So I guess that the mobile Omada app has extra VPN option for ER7212PC that does not exist :)

Right now I do not have any particular use for switching from L3 to L2. I asked just out of curiosity, since my previous cheap router had VPN server that was capable of changing tun to tap.
