Deco M4 Ethernet connection to PC has lower speed than direct connection from router
Dear TP-link,
I have the following situation:
- Multi-unit Deco M4 deployment, all Decos have Ethernet backhaul towards modem/router
- Access Point mode
- my line is fiber up to 1 Gbps UP/DOWN
- all connecting cables are Cat6.
Here the issue:
- If I connect the PC to the other Ethernet port of each Deco (one port is used for backhauling) I get a maximum speed of about 550 Mbps DOWN and UP (wired)
- if I connect the PC to the wire that is backhauling Deco, I get a maximum speed of about 900 Mbps DOWN (350 Mbps more!).
- I also tried to swap ports, without any enhancement (i.e. same issue/result). I also tried to reboot network, again without any improvement.
It seems that each Deco unit is downcapping the maximum speed at about 550 Mbps, but I don't understand why.
-> Why do I get such behavior? Which setting or setup could be affecting the speed?
-> Could you help me in improving wired speed of devices connected to my Decos?
Thanks in advance
