TC82 battery always at 100% is good?
If TC82 battery is always at 100% I think this could be wrong for battery life.
I know lithium does not have memory issue, but always full, I think this could be wrong for battery life
Is there any way to disconnect solar panel from the app. or let battery level down to a lower value?
I understand manufacturar has beeen studied it.
I have TC82 V1 and V2 cameras

Tapo battery-powered camera has battery protection, there is no problem keeping the solar panel always connected to the camera.
Common behaviors that typically affect battery lifespan include recharging only after fully discharged, or continuing high-power charging input when the battery is nearly full.
What battery protection does is to reduce charging power when the battery is nearly full. Tapo battery camera stays in sleep mode most of the time to conserve battery life, even when it is awake, as long as the camera is not undergoing full charge-discharge cycles (draining the battery completely before recharging), the charge/discharge current from the solar panel is minimal. Therefore, the impact on the battery cells is negligible and can be considered non-damaging.
