Model: TL-WPA4220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My AV600 is in a summer house some 150 yards from the house.

The power source is directly connected to the distribution board in the house.

It has been running for about 2 years with no problem.

It communicates with a digital rain guage and a digital thermometer.

In the past 2 weeks it has started going off line at random intervals.

There has been no change in the elecrical system.

Any help would be welcome

Hello @bill-lancaster ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

Powerline Adapters can be affected by various factors, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Place your Powerline Adapters as far as possible from high-power appliances, such as AC units, refrigerators, or washing machines.
2. Power off high-power appliances one at a time to see if any of them are causing the issue. If you identify a problematic device, try to keep it turned off or use a surge protector with filtering capabilities.
3. Avoid plugging your Powerline Adapters into surge protectors or extension cords. For best performance, plug them directly into the wall outlet.

If these steps do not help, please feel free to contact local technical support for further assistance.

Thanks for the advice.

The AV600 itself is a long way (50 yards+) from anything!

The last three failures all occurred in working hours but I haven't been able to see a connection with any events in the house.

I have read that sending a continuous Ping to the router can solve this problem so I'm working on a way to do this.

Thanks again
