Runtime minutes
I have used a P110 to monitor the power consumption over a day of a pump that switches on and off.
Can I also derive from the data how many minutes the pump runs for during the day?
I'm trying to find out the output of a borehole, I know the flowrate but not the minutes.
Thank you.

I can't get it from runtime dispay as that just tells me how long it has been plugged in not how long current has been passing through it. However I've realised on the display on my phone I can see "Current Power" so if I watch a pump cycle I can see how many watts it is using. So if I divide the daily kWh figure by the watts it gives me the running time. I have a measure of the pump output so I can calculate litres per day which is what I need for sizing a treatment system.

Yes. As I understand it, there’s a measurable power difference between active and idle states of electrical devices, which helps you to estimate the runtime duration. The exported sheet contains granular power data (recorded at 5-minute intervals) that should be useful for your analysis.

The energy data exported from the Tapo P110 includes detailed information on energy usage and power data. You can check if that helps with your project.
