I have installed the hub and at first the chime played a few times but now it doesn't stop ringing even though it's set for 2 seconds.

 

Any advice or than to turn the chime off please?

To configure settings for a doorbell's paired chime, you need to visit: doorbell Device Settings > Doorbell > Paired Chime. 

 

Please confirm that you have adjusted the settings in the right place. The ring settings on the hub’s device page do not apply when the hub is used as a doorbell chime.

This has been driving me nuts every time the doorbell was pressed.
