My Tapo C425 was activated with a free trial without manual email entry.
After reset, it cannot initiate pairing.
Please perform a server-side cloud unbind using the device serial number.

I cannot perform hard reset. Please also note that when removing the device in tapo app, it keeps re appearing - maybe due to cloud bound.
