I've finally had it with Home Shield

First it blocked access to my network devices, printers, Nas etc.... 

Adding exceptions took care of that.... But it took a while to figure out out it was this software doing it. 

3 days ago I lost all access to my IMAP email accounts.  I host my own email together with my websites on a reputable host.  Everything has worked fine then I just got shut down.  After going round and round with my webhost

And getting nowhere, I checked homeshield and it just decided to call my IMAP and SMTP mail servers as a threat and had to turn off homeshield altogether to get my email back........ I've wasted so much time with this software.... 

Do yourself a favor and give it a miss.
