I have a t100 motion sensor that detects motion whenever it feels like. I could be jumping just in front of it and would not trigger.... i set it to high sensitivity and detection interval to 4 secs. Later without changing anything it would trigger. No idea what to do with this ... the connection to the hub is not very good but this should not be an issue detecting motiin right?
The sensor’s connection to the hub is essential because all its associated actions—such as logging events, running automations, and sending notifications, are processed through the hub (some via the cloud). If your sensor’s signal strength is weak, try moving it closer to the hub and observe its performance.
You may check device's event log to confirm whether it is actually triggered. Adjust the detection interval to 1 second, see if that makes any difference.
