I have inserted a new bulb and connected it to the App and it is currently switched on, however, having successfully paired it two hours ago it has disappeared from the list of devices on my App and neither a soft or hard reset will bring it back. As I am now alone in the property and bedbound this means I am going to have to attempt to sleep with the light on. Can you explain why a device that was working perfectly two hours ago, and has remained untouched since, should now seemingly not exist?

Did you control the bulb with a physical switch? Or was there a power outage at your home? If these behaviors have occurred before, the bulb may have been reset due to unstable power.

 

If the issue is not caused by the above reasons, we recommend reconfiguring the bulb and observing whether the same problem recurs. If it happens again, further investigation will be needed to determine the cause. To do that, contact technical support directly.
