Model: Tapo H200   Tapo T110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6.1 Build 20251230 rel.64168

I am testing how the Tapo ecosystem works locally, with internet access for the hub blocked on the router. After disabling the internet, the current state of T110 is not available in the Tapo app - it still shows the last status when the internet was on. After re-enabling the internet, all missed status changes are displayed in the history, so the hub had them locally the whole time, but the app cannot access them from the local network.

One more thing I noticed: I linked H200 to the Apple Home app via Matter and after disabling the internet, Apple Home app still shows the current status of T110 while Tapo app does not.

This doesn't seem like the expected behavior. Please ensure your Tapo app is updated. You may try to delete and reinstall the app.

To analyze the issue, i recommend reproducing the problem, then submit a log in the app. And it would be very helpful if you could provide a screen recording of the entire testing process. How to get the log of Tapo app

  @Wayne-TP

This week, I took automation a few steps further and found a workaround. I launched my local Home Assistant server, used TP-Link Smart Home integration, and now I can use and automate devices connected to the hub completely locally.
