Model: Tapo C425 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 250914 Rel.41594n

I bought recently some c201 cameras which works great,so i have decided to buy a c425kit model to monitor my motorbike ,i have installed the camera on the second floor on my building(where i live) so to monitor the yard (10m distance ) for my motor bike.

I have put the sensitivity of detection on 10 (the highest) but the camera seems to be useless. It detects the 40-50% of triggers at the best.

I think this is a software issue and i hope you gonna fix it with a new firmware version so to protect my property

Please also add the feature to auto clean off the records every 48 hours to be in common with Greek laws

Your camera is placed a bit far from the area you want to monitor, so it’s expected that the detection might not be as sensitive. You might consider adjusting its position -- if you can lower the mounting height and tilt the angle upward slightly, the camera’s detection range should extend farther and cover the area better. Check this article for more troubleshooting suggestions. What should I do if my battery-powered camera can't detect the motion?
