Dual PTZ, fixed lens angle

Dual PTZ, fixed lens angle

Does anyone have any information on the angle to the horizontal of the fixed lens in any of the dual lens PTZ cameras? i.e. C575D, C246D or C545D

I am trying to work out the ground level coverage for the fixed camera for various mounting heights, and while the horizontal and vertical FOVs are published, the angle to the horizontal of the fixed lens isn't given.

Thanks, but as I said above I have the horizontal and vertical field of view figures from the very same pages you reference.

What I am after is the mounting angle to the horizontal of the fixed cameras, which is not on anywhere on  the TAPO website.

Hi,

Under normal installation conditions, the fixed camera’s field of view is typically aligned parallel to the horizontal (ground) plane.
That said, if you check the product overview or design, you’ll notice that the fixed lens usually allows for slight vertical angle adjustment. The exact adjustment range varies depending on the specific model.

Please refer to the information below, which is sourced from the official product overview pages. For the most accurate and up-to-date details, please refer to the official website.

Tapo C246D: The fixed lens can be manually adjusted vertically by -10° to 10° and horizontally

Tapo C545D: The top wide-angle lens is fixed in place but supports manual Pan (270°) and Tilt (-30° to -10°) adjustment for the best viewing angle.

Tapo C575D: -20°~0°Manual Adjustment

Hi,
If you want to know is the Field of View of the camera's lens, and you can find the information on our official website>camera's Specifications page or the datasheet.

At present, the fixed lens on most dual-lens PTZ cameras (such as C575D, C246D, and C545D) is generally aligned parallel to the ground by default. However, depending on the specific model, the fixed lens can usually be manually adjusted slightly during installation. The exact adjustable angle range varies by model.
For precise details, including the adjustable tilt angle, please refer to the Product Overview page on our official website, where this information is specified for each model.

Tapo C246D: Overview

Tapo C545D: Overview

Tapo C575D: Overview

Best Regards,
