Model: TL-SG108E
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.0

Hello,

just installed the TL-SG108E switch and Bandwidth control in QoS doesn't work for upload. How can I limit the upload speed?

@Bazim

Same problem here.

Download limits work as expected.

Specifying an upload limit for a port has no effect.

What bandwidth are you trying to limit on upload speed?

The TL-SG108E is a Gigabit Easy Smart Switch, the bandwidth control is unable to be so accurate. Actually, the smaller the limit, the less accurate the chip will be. For your reference, the granularity of the speed limit on Smart/Managed Switches is 64kbps.

Besides, it's suggested to use Iperf to check the speed after you configure the bandwidth control.
