Knowledge Base Navigating the Evolution: Exciting Transformations in Web GUI with Omada Controller v5.9 and above
Overview
After upgrading the firmware of the Omada Controller to V5.9, significant changes have been made to the Controller's Web GUI. The most notable change is the addition of a Global View. Now, upon logging into the controller, you will be directed to the Global View by default instead of the previous default Site. Below, we will highlight the differences in the positions of several common Settings before and after Omada Controller v5.9, as referenced:
Site Manager

Controller v5.9 and below:
Go to Site in the top-right corner, you will see Site Manager, Add New Site, Import Site.

Controller v5.9 and above:
Go to Global View in the top-right corner, you will see Add New Site, Import Site as below.
Controller Settings

Controller v5.9 and below:
Go to Site in the top-right corner > Settings > Controller Settings, you will see Controller, Cloud Access, Maintenance, Migration,Auto Backup.

Controller v5.9 and above:
Go to Global View in the top-right corner > Settings, you will see Controller Settings, Server Settings, Account Security, platform Integration, Maintenance, Migration, Export Data, Cloud Access.
Account Settings

Controller v5.9 and below:
Go to Site in the top-right corner > Admin, you will see Add New Admin Account.

Go to Global View in the top-right corner > Account, you will see User, Role, Add New User.
