Hi there,

quick question: running TP Link VMS with two remote cameras.

Setup works fine & I can see (and configure) the cams remotely in the VMS.

But: can not see any videos, neither live nor recorded (cams have an SD card inserted).

Clicking on the cams in "Devices/(individual cam)Edit" brings up the information window with a progress indicator stopping at 99% and an error message"Unable to load video - Device is not ready".
Have unfortunately no TP Link cam running in the same (local) network where the VMS sits, so I can not check whether that would work or not.

Could it be a port opening issue?
Or any other idea?

Thanks!
Thomas

Hi @Eg64

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Could be the ports but you gotta verify this first if you have them set up in a NAT affected environment. Check this: Which ports do VMS use?

  @Clive_A

Oh, my bad. Had already opened all ports in the firewall incl. a proper NAT, but -after your mail - checked again and found a typo in one port number.

Works now, thanks for the product!
