ER605 vpn router in front of Google Nest Wifi
My working setup is as follow:
ISP --> Modem/Router in bridge mode (Hiltron Coda-4680 from ISP) --> WAN Google Nest Wifi (router and mesh system).
I'm trying to add the ER605 vpn router in front of Google Nest Wifi to secure all my devices with OpenVPN (with NordVPN).
I connected my system like this:
ISP --> Modem/Router in bridge mode (Hiltron Coda-4680 from ISP) --> WAN - TP-Link ER605 - LAN to --> WAN Google Nest Wifi (router and mesh system).
- I used the beta firmware 2.2.6, which allow disabling NAT. NAT is disabled.
- The ER605 LAN IP address is: 192.168.0.1. Google Nest Wifi: 192.168.86.1, so no conflict there.
- ER605 DHCP is disabled
With this setup, I do not have internet access on my Nest Wifi.
What am I missing?
I also try setting the ER605 in bridge mode: still no internet on the Nest Wifi.
I would like this setup to work first before introducing the OpenVPN setup on the ER605.
Can someone help me make this setup work?
Thank you
