We are trying to set up a cpe510 point to point using a mac. We set up the AP OK but when we try to configure the client the AP does not find the client. We are using a different IP address for the client as per instructions but no joy. Any help would be welcome!Cheers James

We are setting up in the room first before we fit on site. Distance is not the issue even when fitted on site (less than 200 meters) It must be something simple with the initial set up. Set up same units late last year using windows with no problem. Is it the Apple Mac that is different?Cheers James

Definitely not, CPEs can easily be set up under MacOS also, it's even easier than under Windows due to one-click IP environment profiles.

Hm...maybe you got this the other way around but afaik the client should pick up the AP..., i.e. the survey initiates on the client side (in other words the AP broadcasts and the client receives the signal) and upon connection provided you input the proper credentials you lock to it, not the other way around.

You should have no issues using the MacOS...Myself I've used Macs on countless occasions with no issues whatsoever.
