In case I did not make myself clear with my first post. The CPE610 in CL mode indeed exhibits superior performance compared to the CPE510 BUT when the two CPEs are NOT completely aligned to one...

If you are having difficulties setting up the router in WDS mode, go get yourself a cheap-o dedicated repeater for less than $10 and that should do the trick :)

I can only think of one case where that would work and that is if the area that needs to be serviced via "near-distance" 2.4Ghz WiFi in the farm end can be enclosed by the azimuth and elevation...
