@Louise_L Have you tried to configure Virtual Servers in NAT Forwrding menu - for IPsec UDP ports 500 and 4500 are required. Disable UPnP and reboot the VR400 before configuring the Virtual Servers.

@MrMan987 Make sure you're with the latest FW release for TL-WR902AC - here. If TL-WR90AC works with a shorter cable connected to your main router, your issue probably is with the long ethernet cable...
