Can anyone advise on adding mesh repeaters to extend the effective WiFi coverage in my home?

Does anyone tryed to connect Archer C3150 with two HDD at the USB 3.0 port? I used to do with the C8 and works good enought, but, cant make it work with the C3150. Do you guys have any ideias?
