Model : TL-WPA4220KIT

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 1.3.1.2141-00_422091_170518_004

ISP :

I just bought a TL-WPA4220KIT, to my surprise it's version 1.0 hardware.
I need to secure the Powerline network but it seems it cannot be done, the stiky thread in this subforum describe the procedure of securing the powerline network using the old TP Utility software, using the new Utility the is no way to configure a password for the powerline network.

What I really wand/need is to prevent a "casual user" to reset/change the configuration using the TP Utility, is it possible?
The way it is now anyone connected to the network (including WiFi from TL-WPA4220) can run the TP Utility and mess up the configuration.
Are these product so insecure?

Thank you in advance for any hint.
