Hi all, good nows for Italian users that want to use TP-Link modem/routers on VDSL line with italian ISP like TIM, WIND, Tiscali, Vodafone, Fastweb

 

TP-Link Italy published offical FAQ that help to configure TP-Link modem/router with main italian ISP.

The configuration is for every VDSL VRx modem/router.

For VoIP routers

VR1200v with offcial firmware: https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201901/20190107/Archer_VR1200v(IT)v1_1.0.0_0.8.0_up_boot(181217)_2018-12-17_16.07.13.zip

VR600v and VR2800v ask beta firmware to TP-Link italy support: support.it@tp-link.com

@Nopex Using the parameters provided by TeleTU (Vodafone) with Archer VR1200V it is not possible to establish the connection. Is it possible to know which are the best settings for the ADSL connection with this operator (both for the network section - internet and for the network section - DSL settings)?
By setting via the initial quick setup and choosing TeleTU_ADSL the connection is made regularly but after switching off the device when it is switched on again, the DSL LED remains permanently flashing

The DSL led flashing means that the DSL syncronization failed. 

 

You can change another DSL line, remove the splitter and hard reset the router by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with it powered on.

 

After that, please verify whether the DSL LED turns solid on. 

 

Still the same, you can give a call to your ISP to verify the line quality.
