This is the scenario that happens regularly:

 

- I turn off the smart plug, I check the plugged in device to make sure it doesn't work 

 

- the smart plug loses connection to the Wi-Fi 

 

- the smart plug reconnects 

 

- the plugged in device is now turned on. 

 

I tried this with all three plugs that I own. 

 

 

Bug? If so - any workaround or plan to fix by TP link?

Hi,

 

For your case, on the kasa app, please refer to the link below to make sure the firmware of the HS100 is the latest one or not. If it's not the latest one, update firmware first.

If the firmware is the latest one but have the same issue, on the kasa app, please go to the device settings page for each HS100, then check the following information please.

1. what's the firmware and hardware version for each HS100?

2. What's the signal strength for each HS100?

 

If you have not tried change the router's wireless settings, like the channel, channel width etc, you can have a test.

Hi, Thank you so much! I am on the latest version of the firmware. I resorted to installing a range extender, have not had issues since. Howard
