Hello,

To describe the context... I am the "happy" owner of a VR600 router since a few month. Happy because of the great improvement in management compare to my ancient material. And between quotes "" because the capacities of the router management has recently reach their limits.

I think that I encounter the same problem that the one described here, were I have written a message :

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/99457?page=1

But I finally decide to start a new thread about VR600 for the visibility.

Identifications:

The Firmware Version is: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

The Hardware Version :Archer VR600 v2 00000000

The problem :

I have successfully entered 12 devices for address reservation, and then I have had the grey box blocking everything. I cannot define more reserved address. I tried to delete one entry to replace it with a new one : impossible. Delete operation was ok, but I have now only 11 reserved addresses and it's impossible to enter a new one. Modify existing entry doesn't work neither.

I have a complete IoT network to design. A large number of entries in the address reservation table is a mandatory for my project. Actually, this VR600 is only good for trash in my case, unless guarantee could play.

Will a corrected firmware be available soon ? At least, is an ancient firmware usable to avoid this serious bug ?

Best regards,

EM.

Exactly the same error.

As I found at this desk, issue exits from 2017, and no one from TP-Link is on duty for it.

Hey, TP-Link, it is impossible to do a business with such kind of support today. You will ruin your image quckly, you see.

I bought the router more than 3 months ago, and I can not replace it.

Is anyone @ charge there?

Yours,
Eugenijus

@Trappist

What is the hardware and firmware version of the Archer VR600?

How many entries you can enable?

Any error message pops up when you failed to add more?

Good day.

@Kevin_Z

The firmware is: Version 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

The hardware is: Version Archer VR600 v2 00000000

When I purchased the router about two or three years ago I successfully entered 13 IP addresses into Address Reservation, but within the last six months I have tried on a number of occasions to add further IP addresses and have not succeeded.

I go to the Network -> LAN Settings page on the 'Advanced' tab in the web interface and can see the existing IP addresses listed in the Address Reservation table. If I click on 'Add' the IP address and MAC address data entry boxes momentarily appear on the screen (< 1 second) and then disappear and are replaced by a greyed-out block which allows no further interaction on the page. At this point the interface has frozen and can only be restored by switching back to the 'Basic' tab. All attempts to return to the Address Reservation feature and add new addresses end in failure in this way. The are no error messages as such - just a grey area blocking input to the screen.

I'd be very grateful for any further help you may be able to provide.
