TL-WR941HP - led-controller[1014]: <6> 288051 Start to run WAN0_OFF
Hi Guys,
I just bought a TL-WR941HP and taking a look at sys messages I found tons of error like " led-controller[1014]: <6> 288051 Start to run WAN0_OFF"
Also, my internet connection drops randomly very frequent. Any idea?
Hardware version : TL-WR941HP v2.0
Firmware version 2.0.1 Build 20171225 Rel. 60160
Big thanks !

I have the same logs, nonstop LED Controler.
Internet lose connection every few minutes and CPU is almost always above 80% while nothing is happening.
It's an expensive router and It's very depressing that tp-link isn't helping with it.
I'll try reverting to an earlier firmware,,,

I just did a factory reset and this is all I see.
Internet still missing pings every now and then.
I couldn't give two fks about what that Led Controller is doing, I don't see the LED on my router.

I have the same problem, I took it 2 times to the warranty and they tell me that there is no problem. But the wifi is constantly cut off, when checking the log I see the message Start to run WAN0_OFF. It is at the latest level of firmware. I need a solution.

Hi, I´ve found the solution, I threw the router into the trash can and bought a really good one, from another brand, because the tp-link support is not responding.

Since the model is totally different, it's suggested to open a new thread describing the issue in detail.

I have the same problem (WAN0_OFF message, disconnected almost every hour now). Bought the wr941hp last week.
Still no solution? @Kevin_Z

Hi @deepbluesy no, sorry, the only solution I found was to buy a router from another brand. TP-Link support was pretty bad.

Followed that article still no luck.
I turn off the Wi-Fi using Wi-Fi button and turn it on again instead restarting router via power button. Maybe the Wi-Fi setting causing the problem?
