Hi,

Actualy i have 3 power line adaptors of the model AV500 and i´m thinking to buy a new ones, the AV1200.

My idea is to connet the router of my isp to the AV1200 and use also the olds AV500.

Is that possible? Can i have some reduction in the speed of the AV1200, because using the AV500? Can i have some issues?

Waiting for help.

Thanks.

Hello,

All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other, so AV500 can work with AV1200.

But like you said, there will some reduction in the speed of the AV1200 because of AV500. As cask effect, the AV500 decides the performance.

So if you have AV500 already, it is suggested  to buy AV500/AV600 series product, or replace them with advanced product, like AV1200.

May it help.

Good day.
