Hi all,

My housemate has been using this powerline and its been great so far:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TL-WPA8730KIT-Powerline-Extender-Transfer-Configuration/dp/B01JIFYQZM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=wpa8730&qid=1557014741&s=gateway&sr=8-1&fbclid=IwAR2VHaDLi-WuvgBs4OnYIlNqxt-NlN_QRA1gGesi1Z4CzM4rbKZ6uNErDQo

(TP-Link TL-WPA8730KIT Dual Band Gigabit AC1750)

However, I got a PC and I was wondering if I can buy this following powerline, and if it would connect to the one above and give my pc internet:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-PA8010PKIT-Gigabit-Passthrough-Powerline/dp/B00UTG32TQ?fbclid=IwAR2LVhz3-1995odk-iOXf8X43puF3zBxaU901rXprS3uB1seaFbvEASsEo4

(TP-Link TL-PA8010PKIT )

Sorry if there's any confusion, but any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you

Hi,

All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other. That is to say, the TL-WPA8730KIT can work with the TL-PA8010.

While the TL-PA8010 does not support wifi function and there is only one ethernet port. And you can connect your computer to it to get internet.

May it help and have a nice day.
