Model: TL-MR3420
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: TL-MR3420(EU)_V5_180712

Hello,

This MR3420 is the new one .

Tried both the 3G USB are ZTE MF190S and HUAWEI E173Eu-1

I don't know why this modem can not run stable for 2 days.It disconnect the 3g connection randomly.

I have to turn off and turn on again to make it to normal.

The previous one is the same problem and this new one has the same problem.

The USB 3G is work stable for over 1 week with DLINK Router without any problem

Re:TL-MR3420 V5 disconnect 3G connection random in 2 days
2019-06-28 02:30:36

Hi,

Below is the compatibility list of the 3/4G dongle.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/3g-comp-list.html?model=TL-MR3420&hdVer=V5&location=1965

Meanwhile, we can do some troubleshooting on your case:

1. what is the light status of the MR3420 when it lost connection?

2. At that time, please login to the web interface and take a screenshot of the status page.

3. Have you ever tried to create the profile manually with the APN related info?

Good day.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

If possible, it is suggested to login to the web interface to get the status page when it lost connection; otherwise, we can let it go.

Meanwhile, you can create the profile manually with the APN related information to give it a go.

Besides, when and where did you buy this router?

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z i have similar problem too, i use MR3420 v5, modem sierra 320u, the lan connection its ok, but wifi setting always auto disable it self after a few hour, i try to restart the router and modem, and let it off for a few minute, but after i turn on, the problem still same until now. i set enable via browser, and then disable it self after a few hour, i buy this router+modem package 2 week ago, and no problem before it, i got the wifi problem just 3 day ago. how to fix it ?
