Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

A quick update from me...
Just solved 2/3 of my problem - returned to seller 2 of my Archers C6. The 3rd one will be returned as well once I get my other house.
Good luck in waiting for the stable firmware!

@Joro_B I tried to return mine the same day I received it but the store doesn't accept returns for this router, I wonder why xD. They've told me to call Tp-Link and they told me to return to the shop so yeah. Been stuck with it since then. Was really satisfied with my old C5 so I thought this would've been a great upgrade.

Well, I sent it to the seller's service with an explanation of the issue and letting them know the problem. Since the product cannot be repaired, the only outcome is a refund.

Yes you can downgrade.
I have tried to downgrade on 1.3.0 but the firmware wasn't stable for me...

on download page I only find recent firmwares. Where can I search for older ones like 1.30?
