Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

@Kevin_Z I have been using this router for last 1 year. Been dealing with this issue related to 2.4 GHz ever since. I tried the latest beta FW you shared, these aren't stable either. My 2.4 GHz went blank about 5 times today. I changed channel bandwidth to 20 and now to 40. Anything else that you can suggest ?
Why would a problem with basic functionality of the router like this take so long to get fixed ? How long should customers "optimize 2.4 GHz" with beta firmwares? Is this fair for customers who know nothing about firmware or devices like these.

After installing the beta firmware we provided, did you disable the Onemesh feature on the router? If not yet, please give it a go, then monitor again.
Just to confirm, do you mean the 2.4G network is not stable, and it just disappears? What are the devices connected to the 2.4G network? When it disconnects, can any device 'see' it? Have you tried to reset the router to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch to confirm?
When the 2.4G disappears, how did you recover it, reboot the router? Is the 5G network stable?
Try to enable the 2.4G guest network, connect these devices to it, then monitor if it is stable.

@Kevin_Z since installing the 1.3.6 20201208 rel 52296 beta firmware I am no longer having issues with 2.4Ghz dropping out, which is good.
Strangely though, I have now noticed the 5Ghz eventually disappears from the available WiFi access points to choose from - this affects multiple Apple and Android devices.
Any ideas please? As others have commented, it seems a long time to not receive an official update since the 2,4ghz issue came to light,

Have you tried to modify the 5G wireless settings on the C6, such as wireless channel and channel width? It is suggested to run a Wi-Fi analyzer to find a clear channel, then change the channel width to 40MHz, reboot the router and reconnect to the wireless network, then confirm.
BTW, who is your ISP?
Are there any special activity on these Apple and Android devices that connect to the 5G network? Please check if they were added to the block list, you can go to Advanced > Security > DoS Protection page to find it out. If they were added to the blocked list, you may disable the DoS Protection to have a check.

Thank you. Any idea when the official build will be released?
Or, if the official build file is ready, can it be shared with the community?
Thank you!

I think the new official firmware is still under testing, please pay attention to the new release on the router web GUI or Tether app.

Any chance of getting access to the 1.3.6 20201208 rel 52296 firmware?
I am on 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591(4555) and all my 2.4ghz connected devices lose connection and won't reconnect to the network until I disable and enable the 2.4ghz wifi, this happens several times a week.
