Firmware Version: 190307

I have a problem with my router MR200 that does not connect to the internet of the SIM card, in the area that we are exist HSPA+ signal, checked with an APP on my cell phone, so I found out HSPA is an improvement of the 3G network and according to the description of the router it recognizes these networks, by caution I updated the firmware to V4, so why don't you recognize it? , there is no way to select the type of 3G network to be used since the only options are 3G and 4G.

Thanks

Gracias

@Felipe_Acuna

As you can see, the MR200 supports 3G, which includes HSPA+; so you can choose the network mode to 3G only and it will negotiate with the existing HSPA+ signal.

Network Type 4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800 MHz)
TDD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41 (2600/1900/2300/2500 MHz)
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B8 (2100/900 MHz)

We usually regard 3/4G as common standards and it won't affect the performance.

Good day.

Thanks Kevin,

Yes, I selected the 3G option, but as you can see in the images below, it still does not recognize the network but on the cell phone if it shows the available network.

Regards

Once the SIM card connects, the router it will switch to the best band, (LTE, HSDPA, 4G, 3G)

Are you testing the router with the same SIM that connects in your phone.

it appears from screen grab that the SIM in the TP-Lnk is not detecting a signal to connect.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Felipe_Acuna

From the pictures attached, the signal strength is not good;

Try to change another location to put the MR200 or adjust the antenna position. Even you can change another SIM card.

After that, try to create the connection profile manually with the APN information.
