Hi @Kevin_Z, is there any ETA or plans ahead for other routers? Eagerly waiting for DoH on Archer C20 (US) v5.

Also there is no option for custom DDNS provider. I want to use NextDNS on my router, which requires a DDNS to have your linked IP updated automatically. The only options are noip[dot]com -- which requies to be logged in every 30 days, and dyn[dot]com/dns -- which now has no free tier. Is there any workaround to this?

@DoHforC20

The models that currently support DoH are listed in the following thread, and the list could be updated regularly when there are new models or firmware that add support for it. It's suggested to subscribe to the thread to get the most updated info:

I want this feature on AX73. I saw that AX55, a lower tier router, already received this feature. But AX73 still getting left in the dark, seriously?? Internet privacy has become worse and worse everyday. I have to use DoH on my PC to avoid ISP/Govt. censorship, but I want DoH at router level because some devices simply just don't have any workaround.

This solution is not acceptable.  It seems to only allow preset DoH, which many of us need to be able to specify.  Further, DoT is missing.  DoT is dead simple, I don't understand what the holdup is.

I'd like to see DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-QUIC (new protocol) support added to the Archer MR series of 4G routers, if possible.

Thanks,

@Kevin_Z

Greetings

For year 2024 and for 400+ euro/usd value routers DoH/DoT should be there.

I already own BE900 , BE800 and BE550 models and sadly none of them have integrated DoH/DoT feature.

Looking enviously at Asus wifi 7 series and almost all of them coming into the market with DoH/DoT by default.

I have no regret buying TP-Link series routers , i have faith that your marketing division will pay more attention to the market and customers needs and your software engineers will implement DoH/DoT into the firmware.

P.S FYI I am working for one of the biggest retail/e-tail electronics suppliers from Europe and i can tell you that sadly in 168 stores across  western and eastern Europe we sell more Asus wifi7 than TP-Link wifi 7 and the reason is DoH/DoT presence in their firmware even if Asus have by far more bigger price.

In short words add DoH/DoT into Deco and BE series and you will have way better sales than all other competitors from consumer router market.

Kind regards

Ovi
