Hello, after you installed the firmware, please factory reset it not reboot. 

 

With the router powered on, hold the reset button/hole for 10s to hard reset it.

This worked for me and I can now get the messages I needed to activate the sim card,  Is there a way we can then install a fully released firmware, instead of having "confidential only for test" listed across every page / screen?

This is still a major issue for me as once agan any new messages coming in are still not being displayed in the interface and these are needed to run my data sim correctly.  Please can you tell me when a fix will be available.

 

As you can see from the pic attached there are five messags waiting but none being displayed

@PaulWilliams I think that you are notifiying the wrong person. I'm a customer just like you and I'm waiting for a fix for this problem as well. The beta firmwares are just a temporary workaround and stops working after a while for me (most likely when the operator send something that it can't handle).

Hi @M7sthlm sorry about that I just hit reply.  So @Kevin_Z can you contact the developers and tell them this is still a major issue please?? Or tell us how we can raise this with them ourselves.

Please can we have an update on this issue and what the developers have found?  This is becoming a real issue for me as I need access to these messages to use this router.

Hello, sorry to respond late. We have been working on it. 

 

We raised another beta firmware you can install to test its performance first.

After that, please verify whether you can see the message under SMS-Inbox and Basic- network map page.

Hi

 

 

I'm having issues with viewing sms as well.

 

I did notice that if I send a bunch of messages from my phone to my router, so that some messages are getting pushed to the next page of messages, some messages eventually show up. Navigating to the next page of messages then again causes the issue.

 

The messages I sent was just numbers

4

etc.

 

So at least in my case there are one or more specific messages, or specific types of messages, that causes this issue.

 

I hope this information can be of some assistance to the developers in finding the cause.

Hi @Kevin_Z Yes this latest firmware has been working a lot better and seems to stay working now after couple of days testing.  Have you any time frames before an official release will be available?
