time lag

Experiencing a time lag / delay when viewing live since latest software up date earlier this month.
Have software on iphone x, honor view 10, ipad air 2 and kindle fire hd, all experiencing a delay that increases over time fom a few seconds up to 2 minutes plus.
Both camera and device on the same network and using virgin hub 3 with speeds of 130mbps+ download and 20 down.
Have tried the phones using 4g rather than network with the same results.
As a check, I installed the app on an old ipad that couldn't load the latest version but did load a previous version, works perfectly ?
Any ideas anybody ?
Ipad Air 2 is OS 12
.4.1 and is running Kasa smart version 2.16.1
This has the lag along with my Android honor view 10, I phone x and kindle fire hd
My old Ipad running OS 9.3.5 and Kasa smart version 2.14.0
This is working fine with no lag
On the video, the left hand screen has the lag whilst the right hand screen ( 2.14.0 ) is live
