TL-PA4020 kit Strange firmware version
Firmware version reported by the utility is
1.3.2141-00_402192_160809_904
which seems different (maybe newer?) than anything on the official support site. Attempts to flash the official version fail. I bought these used, and don't know their history. Any ideas what this version is and if there's a better firmware version? Thanks!

I have the same conundrum.
I got my TP-Link TL-PA4020P KIT Ver:1.1 used and the tpPLC utility doesn't recognize them as AV500 devices but as AV600 ones. Furthermore the utiliy tells me that my PLC's have an even new firmware version: 1.3.1.2141-00_422091_170518_004 which I cannot find anywhere on the support website.
They work fine, but I don't like, that my firmware is apparently newer, than the latest one from here: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tl-pa4020p/v1/#Firmware
After looking around, it looks like my TL-PA4020P Ver:1.1 adapters have the latest firmware intended for the TL-WPA4220(PLC) V1 from here:
