I am finding this thread almost 4 months after its initiation. I just downloaded the beta version, which has has worked for me on Catalina. Should I be using a more proper version of the software at this point?

Works partially for Mac 10.15.4, but extended settings cannot be saved on the device.
This also might be because the devices are buggy or defect, cause one of them doesnt recover from energy save mode
and always has to be plugged out and in to recover :-(

I just found this forum. I have found that I can use the app which is downloaded. I inspected the contents of the app by showing package contents. I found an app within the package which can be opened in terminal. Right click and open with terminal app. I forgot the name of the app within but if you search within the folders it will show. I will update this post tomorrow with the actual name

Works great! The normal utility on the TP-Link support website just crashes when opened (macOS Catalina), but this doesn't. It's a little annoying having these "confidential" watermarks, but I can live with that.
